Direct Sales Representative – Job Specification Reports To CEO
Job Purpose: The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business by identifying prospects, conducting direct outreach, presenting products or services, and closing sales. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and contributing to company growth through proactive business development activities.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development

Identify and qualify prospective customers through research, networking, referrals, and outbound prospecting.

Conduct cold calls, emails, social selling, and face-to-face meetings to generate opportunities.

Present products and services to potential customers and demonstrate their value.

Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.

Negotiate terms and close sales agreements.

Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Pipeline & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and sales forecasts in HubSpot.

Track key sales metrics and report progress to management.

Keep customer information up to date and ensure data accuracy. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.

Gather customer feedback and communicate insights to management.

Identify new market opportunities and target segments.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).

5+ years of direct sales, business development.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Compensation Structure

Base Salary: $75k CAD + $75k CAD Variable (OTE $140k+)

Commission: Uncapped performance-based commission
