The Role
My client is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead and support the company’s construction and field operations across multiple Ontario locations. This role is focused on people leadership, operational oversight, and execution discipline, ensuring teams are aligned, supported, and consistently delivering quality outcomes.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited for someone with a construction and telecom operations background who excels at managing managers, guiding teams, and driving consistency across a growing, multi-site operation.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide overall operational leadership across construction and telecom field operations
· Directly lead and support 3 Project Managers, 3 Construction Managers, and 20–30 field crew members across approximately 20 locations
· Serve as a senior leadership resource to Project Managers and Construction Managers, offering guidance on execution, workforce planning, scheduling, and site-level escalation
· Ensure alignment across teams on safety, quality, timelines, and operational standards
· Drive consistency in processes, performance expectations, and communication across all locations
· Support senior leadership with operational planning, capacity management, and resource deployment
· Maintain visibility across active projects with limited, purposeful travel
· Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
· 8–10+ years of experience in operations leadership within construction, telecom, or infrastructure environments
· Proven experience managing managers and field-based teams in multi-site operations
· Strong understanding of construction-driven and telecom infrastructure environments
· Demonstrated ability to coach, guide, and influence experienced Project Managers and Construction Managers
· Comfort operating at a senior operational level without full general management accountability
· Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Pay: $135,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
