Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Coat Check Attendant to provide exceptional guest service at our venue. This role involves welcoming guests, managing coat check operations, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with coat check procedures
- Manage the safe storage and retrieval of guests’ coats and personal belongings
- Handle guest inquiries politely and efficiently, providing information as needed
- Maintain organized coat check areas to ensure quick service and safety
- Process guest transactions accurately, including cash handling when applicable
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and professionalism in all interactions
- Support other event staff in delivering excellent guest services during functions
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or food service is preferred
- Experience demonstrating patience and adaptability.
- Strong public speaking skills to confidently communicate with guests
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a guest-facing role
- Ability to remain attentive, organized, and calm in busy environments.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during special events as needed
