Manager, IT Infrastructure & Business Systems

Pidherney’s Inc. is seeking a Manager, IT Infrastructure & Business Systems to lead our technology operations and help shape the future of our organization. This role is responsible for IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise business systems, and technology projects that support both office and field operations across our growing construction business.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational excellence while working closely with company leadership to improve efficiency, security, and business performance.
What You'll Do
- Lead IT operations, infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Manage and mentor the internal IT team while overseeing key technology vendors and partners.
- Develop and execute IT strategy, roadmaps, budgets, and modernization plans.
- Support and optimize enterprise business systems and applications.
- Lead technology projects including system upgrades, automation, integrations, and process improvements.
- Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology services across the organization.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for operational improvement through technology.
What We're Looking For
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 7 years of progressive IT experience supporting infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and business systems.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing technical teams, projects, vendors, or MSPs.
- Strong knowledge of IT operations, project delivery, cybersecurity, governance, and vendor management.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Assets
- Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or related certifications.
- Experience with ERP, finance, fleet, equipment management, or operational systems.
- Experience in construction, industrial, transportation, or heavy equipment environments.
- Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed operations.
