ROLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but not limited to:
· All skills as outlined for Industrial Painter
· Knowledge of various painting methods and applications
· Ability to prepare various types of metal surfaces
· Safe operation of various types of equipment.
· Sandblasting
· Mixing paints as per the data sheet
· Various testing methods required for applications
· Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
· Willing to learn and evolve in this role
Wage range $28-$42 per hour depending on experience
ACCOUNTABILITY & DECISION MAKING
Scope and magnitude of financial, budgetary, cost, employee responsibility and decision-making.
· Ability to work in busy fast paced environment
· Ability to meet delivery deadlines with quality product
· Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Years of experience combined with education, designations or certifications.
· Minimum 1 years experience
· Sandblasting experience an asset
- Operate Overhead Crane system
- Operate forklift for loading and unloading finished product
- Previous Industrial/ shop experience an asset
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
The nature and extent of skills and competencies required to achieve the goals of the position.
· Quality workmanship
· Efficient painting technique with minimal waste
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
