Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD/CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, programming CNC machines, and operating various manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality components. Your expertise will ensure precision, efficiency, and safety in all machining processes. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files using software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to prepare machining instructions.
- Program CNC machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of machines.
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality of finished products.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of machine settings, production logs, and inspection reports.
- Follow safety protocols related to CNC operation, welding, forklift operation, and general manufacturing practices.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines
- Familiarity with CAD software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks for designing or interpreting technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls or other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in CNC programming.
- Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, welding, and assembly processes.
- Ability to use calipers, hand tools, and basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Understanding of quality control procedures within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
