Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator and Labourer to join our masonry team. This role involves operating a skid steer, mortar mixer, concrete saw as well as other hand and power tools. As well as operating machinery, fulfilling this role will involve heavy labour including shoveling as wel as preparing and moving construction materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and construction experience, preferably in concrete or masonry Settings. This position offers opportunities for growth in a dynamic construction environment, requiring attention to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Working on the road, employees must have a valid drivers license and transportation.
Responsibilities
- Operate Skid Steer, mortar mixer and power tools.
- Set up scaffolding and load with materials.
- Planning ahead to determine and provide equipment and materials which will be needed to complete the job.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure workplace safety.
Skills
- Experience in skid steer operation.
- Understanding of basic engines such as in a power washer or mortar mixer.
- Ability to lift heavy construction materials, sometimes more than 50lbs. This includes brick, block, stone, cement, window sills, angle irons and more.
- Capability to thrive in high pressure circumstances.

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
