Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team and assist with various construction projects. This role involves hands-on work in building, renovation, and restoration activities, supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks such as framing, caulking, or tile laying
- Support carpenters, plumbers, welders, and other tradespeople in their daily activities
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to assist with layout and installation tasks
- Perform demolition work when necessary for restoration or renovation projects
- Support plumbing and concrete tasks by preparing materials and assisting skilled workers
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment on-site
Experience
- Prior experience working with hand tools and basic construction techniques is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, or specific skills such as carpentry, caulking, restoration, or flooring installation is a plus
- Experience in construction painting, plumbing, welding, or tile laying is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials safely
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements
