To oversee the day to day operations of the 2 outlets within the hotel.

We proudly feature O’Brians Restaurant, Jonathan’s Lounge & over 5,000 square feet of newly renovated banquet & meeting space. This hands-on, working position will be responsible for the successful daily operations of O’Brians Restaurant & Grill and Jonathan’s Lounge.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversees & supervises the daily operation of the Outlet operations
- Hosts during high volume meal periods & as required
- Ensures our guests receive friendly, helpful and professional service
- Building on our reputation for providing high quality food & beverage offerings
- Takes full responsibility for Outlet staffing & effectively manages Human Resources
- Works with Executive Chef to develop creative new menus, promotions and special events that help grow our business
- Effective stewardship of administrative, purchasing & financial / cost management
- Assumes Duty Manager role during certain periods and works with Senior Management to provide leadership for the Hotel
Qualifications and Skills
- Hotel & Restaurant Management or Hospitality Diploma or Degree an asset
- 2 to 3 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience
- Exceptional Customer Service & Hospitality skills
- Has strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant and lounge setting
- Stable Work History
- Strong financial management knowledge & skills
- Excellent leadership & communication skills
- Ability to train, mentor & empower
- Attention to detail & strong organizational skills
- Flexible work schedule that includes weekends and holidays & ability to work in fast pace environment
- Knowledgeable with and comfortable using various software and hardware applications including Microsoft Office, Micros, Social Media
- Valid ProServe, Reel Facts, ProTect, First Aid, Food Safe considered assets
