The Role:
The Branding and Signage Specialist is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the execution of brand-aligned signage solutions across fuel stations and convenience stores. This role ensures strong visibility and supports the continuous improvement of Canco's brand presence across the provinces while maintaining a high standard and meeting strict regulatory and safety requirement. This role requires collaboration and coordination with different employs to achieve a shared goal. The ideal employee for this position is a skilled multi-tasker who is reliable and committed to providing excellent results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Branding & Signage Execution

Oversee installation of signage across all new builds, acquisitions, and rebrands

Ensure all branding meets Canco standards (quality, consistency, aesthetics)

Verify materials used (ACM panels, LED lighting, etc.) meet durability and warranty standards

Ensure pricing signage integrates correctly with POS systems
2. Vendor & Project Management

Coordinate with signage vendors, fabricators, and installers

Manage timelines, installations, and project execution

Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget

Negotiate pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities
3. Cost Optimization & Innovation

Continuously identify ways to reduce signage costs without compromising quality

Work creatively with vendors to reuse or optimize existing infrastructure where possible

Recommend improvements in materials, lighting, and fabrication methods
4. Quality Control & Compliance

Conduct site reviews (remote) to ensure installation quality

Ensure warranty, guarantees, and specifications are met

Maintain consistency across all locations
5. Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with:

Construction team (timelines & installs)

Marketing team (brand standards & creative direction)

Operations team (store-level execution)

Signage vendors
6. Creative Support

Collaborate with designers and vendors to implement small innovations and enhancements

Support continuous improvement of Canco’s brand presence
Key Skills & Experience

5+ years experience in:

Signage / retail branding / construction coordination

Strong project management skills

Vendor management and negotiation experience

Strong attention to detail (materials, finishes, installation quality)

Salary Range
-
$65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
