Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with experience in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and mechanical maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across various commercial and residential settings. The HVAC Technician will play a vital role in ensuring optimal system performance, safety, and energy efficiency. Candidates with mechanical knowledge, appliance repair experience, construction background, and the ability to interpret schematics are highly preferred. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration units.
- Perform ON CALL work seasonally.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting and leak repairs.
- Conduct welding as needed for system repairs or modifications.
- Operate and service boilers to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent system failures and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Assist in the installation of new HVAC equipment in commercial or residential properties.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all repair and installation activities.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for client files and service reports.
Experience
- Proven experience working as an HVAC Technician or Mechanic with a solid understanding of HVAC systems.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, welding, boiler operation, appliance repair, or construction is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals accurately.
- Prior experience working with schematics related to HVAC or mechanical systems is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail.
- Valid certification or licensing related to HVAC work is a plus but not mandatory for all roles depending on jurisdiction requirements.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
