Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver a variety of IT and Security Services projects. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a broad spectrum of IT project experience, capable of managing complex initiatives across multiple technology domains. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for end-to-end project delivery — from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure — ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, standards, and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT and Security-related projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
- Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Oversee the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across concurrent projects; develop mitigation and contingency strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, and quality management frameworks.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal teams, external partners, and leadership stakeholders.
- Provide regular project reporting, performance tracking, and executive-level status updates.
- Support change management and ensure smooth transition of project deliverables into operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 7 years managing complex IT projects.
- Proven experience across multiple domains such as infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, enterprise applications, and IT operations.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
- PMP certification (or equivalent) required; additional certifications such as ITIL, PRINCE2, or CISSP are an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Experience working within regulated or utility environments considered an asset.
Pay: $60.00-$64.00 per hour
