Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Shop Foreman to join our team in Clairmont. This full-time role is vital in overseeing machining and welding operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency at our facility.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the machine shop team to meet production goals.
- Oversee machining processes, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Train and mentor shop personnel for skill development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in machining or manufacturing environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.
- Proficiency in ERP systems. E2 or Jobboss is an asset.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Effective communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
