We are currently seeking an organized, motivated, and dependable Operations Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Operations Administrator provides day-to-day administrative support to our operations team and branch management. This role plays an important part in employee onboarding, training and certification tracking and logbook monitoring.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicates well with employees and managers, and is able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide reception support, including answering phones and greeting visitors
- Assist with the onboarding and administrative setup of new employees
- Track and maintain employee training certificates and compliance documentation
- Coordinate and book employee training as required
- Assist with monitoring and administration of driver logbooks
- Manage employee scheduled days off and assist with scheduling
- Inventory and assign company-issued items such as tablets, fuel cards and coveralls
- Assist with office supply inventory and ensure office equipment remains operational
- Assist with document scanning, filing, data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks
- Prioritize workload effectively during busy periods and assist with additional operational tasks as required
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with Motive, Workhub, ISN and Axon is considered an asset
Hours of Work
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
1-hour lunch break
15-minute breaks at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Whitecourt, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
