Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and organized Clinic Manager to oversee daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth clinic functioning, maintain high standards of patient care, and lead administrative and clinical staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, healthcare industry knowledge, and proficiency with electronic medical records systems. The Clinic Manager will play a vital role in fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Duties
- Manage daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and record keeping
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing guidance and performance evaluations
- Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, and staff development
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, safety standards, and legal regulations
- Maintain proficiency in electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix and other software tools
- Monitor clinic budgets, manage supplies, and oversee billing processes
- Collaborate with medical professionals to optimize patient care delivery
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers and insurance companies as needed
- Stay updated on medical terminology, hospital procedures, and acute care practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental or medical office management, preferably with dental office experience or hospital experience
- Strong knowledge of electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix or similar platforms
- Familiarity with medical terminology, acute care procedures, and nursing practices
- Supervising experience in a healthcare setting with demonstrated leadership skills
- Background in human resources management including hiring, training, and staff supervision
- Experience with budgeting and financial management within a healthcare environment
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- Preferred experience in hospital or nursing environments is a plus
