Job Description
Lifetime Skills Academy (LSA) is seeking instructors with a passion for nutrition and cooking for an extraordinary opportunity to work with kids from ages 6-12 with an organization that strives to better the education and lifetime skills for children. We are looking for instructors with a strong teaching background. Our instructors are encouraged to incorporate their ideas and curriculums that they believe will further enhance the experience for the students and company.
LSA is looking for experienced and enthusiastic individuals to help build learn-to-cook programming and to teach children the basics of cooking and nutrition. The mission is to revolutionize the way that food is presented and making great food and the knowledge of how to cook accessible to all.
Specific Responsibilities:

Lead cooking classes with six to eight students

Actively guide and encourage students towards completing the assigned tasks

Classroom management

Lesson plan development, and ability to follow lesson plans

Motivate and engage students

Communicating clear instructions

Willing to develop nutrition/cooking curriculum

Room setup and organization
Qualifications:

A college diploma in Culinary Arts and/or diploma in Holistic Nutrition is recommended.

Minimum one-year experience as a cook or chef is an asset

G Drivers License and access to a car is an asset

Food handler certificate
-
CPR/First-Aid Certified
Work Location: In-person.
