The Afternoon Glass Cutter operates the glass cutting table to produce the required output for our afternoon shift. *** Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 12:00am and optional weekends ***
- Keep team lead and management informed of day-to-day activity within department
- Maintains inventory by conducting physical counts of glass sheets
- Preparing work orders
- Cutting glass manually or using the Bottero cutting table as per provided work orders
- Program and operate automatic cutting machine Ensuring that all operating equipment is in good working order, safety checks are performed and documented and reporting any deficiencies to Management
- Verify all cut glass is labelled correctly and placed on required carts
- Ensure that materials or equipment required be kept in a clean manner before and after shifts
- Maintains glass storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements
- Assist with the offloading of the glass crates
- Maintains safe work practices by using all required safety equipment
- Comply with safety rules; report all accidents, incidents and potential hazards immediately
- Follow all lock out/tag out procedures as required
- Respond to any Health and Safety recommendations submitted by the JHSC
- Understand and comply with the worker responsibilities and rights as outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OH&S) of Ontario, as well as, the Company’s safety rules

Experience:
- Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
