Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sander to join our Custom Cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for finishing by operating various sanding equipment and tools. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and precision of our products, contributing to the overall success of our operations. The Sander will work in a warehouse environment, collaborating closely with other team members to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
- Operate power tools and hand tools to sand surfaces of materials to prepare them for painting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Experience in Millwork and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
