Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and licensed Plumber to join our dynamic team. We also welcome applications from 5th-year apprentices looking to advance their careers in plumbing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and components.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Install pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, steam, air, and other liquids.
- Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues.
- Ensure compliance with local and national plumbing codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- Red Seal plumbing license (required).
- 5th-year apprentices may apply.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environmental conditions.
