Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting food preparation, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, with experience in food handling and restaurant operations. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks under the supervision of kitchen staff
- Support the food service team by maintaining a clean work environment throughout shifts
- Help with restocking supplies and organizing storage areas to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
- Support the team during busy service times by providing efficient back-of-house assistance
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cooking, meal preparation, or food handling is a plus
- Experience in food safety practices within the food industry is advantageous
- No prior kitchen experience necessary; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $17.00 per hour
