Job Description:
- Maximize productivity in the shop, planning workflow - assigning jobs, making paint schedule
- Working to maintain RPS at acceptable levels.
- Dealing with issues regarding both jobs/vehicles such as parts
- Assisting Autobody Technicians when needed, Working with office staff on booking/shop load
- Managerial duties with staff, including hiring, firing, regular check ins and
performance reviews
- Assisting HR with any problems direct employees may have
- Maintain clean and organized shop
- Assist with parts ordering when needed, Work to maintain parts areas / returns / reorders /damaged parts / inventory
- Explain repairs and repair status with customers to ensure high level of customer
service and review repairs with customers.
- Checking and reviewing industry trends/standards, Updating tools and training in
the shop, and inform employees of the new techniques and procedures
- Perform theft claim procedures with customer
- Submitting MPI claim for approval
- Ensuring proper repair procedures are being followed
- Make corrections with process/technicians when concerns found
- Supplement approvals (parts or time needed added to the estimate)
- Uploading procedures for estimated MPI jobs
