We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to join our day shift team in Newmarket/Aurora, Ontario.
Position Overview:
As a Part-Time Commercial Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients' facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming. This position is perfect for someone who is reliable, meticulous, and enjoys working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and restock restrooms, kitchen areas, and break rooms.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained and stored properly.
- Report any necessary repairs or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
