One of our clients is currently seeking a Red Seal Certified Journeyman Carpenter to join their construction crew for a minimum 6-month project in Petawawa, ON. This is an urgent opportunity to work on multiple residential housing units.
Local candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry work on residential construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, install, and repair wood and other building materials.
- Construct and install framing, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, and finishing components.
- Work closely with the construction crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Red Seal Certified Journeyman Carpenter (Mandatory)
- Experience in residential construction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Physically capable of performing construction-related duties.
Pay: $37.00-$40.00 per hour
