Position Summary
Aburi Market is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Merchandiser to support the daily presentation, organization, and replenishment of products within our downtown location! Reporting to the Store Manager, the Merchandiser plays an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring shelves and displays are fully stocked, visually appealing, and maintained to company standards. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, stock, and rotate merchandise while ensuring product freshness and quality standards are maintained
- Organize and replenish shelves, coolers, and displays throughout the store
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock or product concerns to management
- Ensure product pricing, signage, and labeling are accurate and up to date
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail displays, storage areas, and workspaces
- Assist with visual merchandising and seasonal product displays
- Support inventory counts and stock audits as required
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when assisting guests on the sales floor
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with additional store duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous retail, grocery, or merchandising experience is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Food Safe Level 1 certification is considered an asset
Pay: $17.85-$21.00 per hour
