Job Opportunity: Baker (Night Shift)

The Baker’s Table is looking for a skilled and versatile Baker to join our night production team. We are looking for an individual who is equally comfortable working with traditional breads as they are with fine pastries and cakes. If you have a passion for the craft and an eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Breads: Execute nightly production of artisan breads, rolls, and buns, ensuring perfect crust and crumb through proper fermentation and baking.
- Cakes & Pastries: Prepare and bake a variety of cakes and pastries, maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
- Icings & Fillings: Prepare house-made icings, creams, and specialty fillings from scratch to finish our baked goods.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate industrial mixers, ovens, and proofers.
- Preparation: Scale ingredients with precision and prep doughs and batters for the upcoming day.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a spotless and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional bakery environment is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in bread making, cake baking, and the preparation of delicate fillings and icings.
- Reliability: Must be highly dependable and comfortable working the night shift independently.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse production schedule.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Shift: Night Shift.
- Work Week: Monday night through Friday night.
- Days Off: Enjoy your weekends off (Saturday and Sunday).
- Starting Wage: Competitive (based on experience).
- Benefits: A comprehensive benefit package is available after 3 months of successful employment.
