Job Summary
We are seeking a level 3 first aider motivated and eager Apprentice or JM Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, contributing to both residential and industrial projects.
Duties
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Work with hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues, including low voltage systems.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of electrical practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in a related electrical field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
