Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. The Window Installer will work closely with other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Measure window openings accurately and prepare materials for installation
- Use hand tools such as drills, saws, levels, and caulking guns to install windows securely
- Remove old windows and prepare openings for new installations
- Seal windows with caulking to ensure energy efficiency and weatherproofing
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Assist in the restoration or renovation of existing structures when required
- Perform related tasks including construction painting or deliveries if necessary
- Basic computer skills (email, scheduling, job tracking).

Experience
- Proven experience in window installation or related construction roles preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings
- Knowledge of carpentry, caulking, restoration, and general construction practices
- Ability to read schematics and technical instructions accurately
- Experience with plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, or construction painting is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
