About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join a specialty pharmacy in Edmonton, AB. This is a contract opportunity starting immediately for 1 month contract + extensions.
Schedule & Compensation:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM with 30 min of unpaid break.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Support the pharmacist with day-to-day operations
Assist with prescription preparation and data entry
Manage inventory, stock, and supplies
Provide excellent customer service and support patients with inquiries
Maintain accuracy and compliance with pharmacy standards
Qualifications:
Previous pharmacy assistant experience preferred (specialty pharmacy experience is an asset)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with pharmacy systems/software an advantage
Ability to work well in a team and independently
