Overview
Lake Country Supply is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated General Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on position that plays a key role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring our yard, equipment, and work sites remain safe, clean, and efficient.
We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Previous labour experience is an asset but is not required—we're happy to provide training to the right candidate.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Perform general site cleanup and maintain a tidy work area
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks as directed
- Operate manual tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Help with moving supplies, products, or materials around the site
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist in setting up workstations for various projects or tasks
Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team environment
- Basic understanding of workplace safety standards; prior experience in construction or manufacturing environments is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
