THE ROLE
Our team of certified journeymen delivers expert
installation, repair, and maintenance solutions tailored to maximize system
efficiency and reduce operational costs.
With many manufacture and association relationships, Mac-Tower Inc. prides itself
in being able to give intensive training opportunities to our employees on various
equipment and professional development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for commercial, and industrial
clients
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in equipment, panels, and
systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to maximize system safety
and efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with HVAC, plumbing, and service teams on cross-trade projects
- Ensure compliance with COR safety standards, Manitoba building codes, and
CSA requirements
- Provide clear communication with clients regarding work performed and
recommendations
- Complete accurate service records, reports, and documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician Certification (Manitoba or interprovincial
equivalent) or Electrician Apprentice.
- Experience in commercial/industrial electrical work is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and provincial
regulations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Ability to qualify for security clearance
