Duties
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Cook and assemble menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper storage, handling, and hygiene protocols at all times
- Serve meals efficiently and courteously to customers or staff in accordance with service procedures
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone
Experience
- Previous food service experience or restaurant work is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with food handling practices and basic cooking techniques is advantageous
- Experience in meal preparation or working within the food industry helps you adapt quickly to the role’s demands
