Kent Chiro-Med Wellness Clinic is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to join our growing multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Position Type: Part-Time (Approximately 20 Hours per Week)

Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physiotherapist with implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs.
- Assist with balance training, gait training, strengthening exercises, mobility exercises, and functional rehabilitation activities.
- Prepare treatment rooms and rehabilitation equipment before and after patient sessions.
- Apply therapeutic modalities as directed by the supervising Physiotherapist, where appropriate and within scope.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate any concerns or changes in condition to the supervising Physiotherapist.
- Educate patients on exercise techniques, posture, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Ensure treatment areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to support comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- PTA/OTA Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, or a related healthcare background.
- Previous experience in a physiotherapy, rehabilitation, chiropractic, or multi-disciplinary clinic is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
