We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our Hensall Food’s team as a Food Line Operator at our Ready Meals Plant in Exeter. The Food Line Operator is responsible for performing tasks related to the production, sanitation and packaging of Ready Meals. This is a full-time position, offering 35 hours/week minimum, based on production needs.
Hensall Foods is a subsidiary of Hensall Co-op, established in 2021. Hensall Foods is actively engaged in various research and development initiatives on several food products and ingredients.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with production related tasks to support operations
- Maintain and ensure necessary production-related paperwork is completed
- Perform sanitation procedures including cleaning equipment, utensils, and food contact surfaces
- Support sanitation and cleaning activities during shift changes
- Understand and follow all HFI Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
- Other duties will be assigned as necessary by Ready Meals management
Job Requirements:

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented and ability to collaborate with all departments
- Ability to follow sanitation procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- This job requires work on the production floor, as well as standing and walking
- Other requirements might include transporting pallets or racks from production to cook line
- Lifting boxes up to 50lbs
- Other jobs assigned by the Production Manager or Lead Hand
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience with processing and food manufacturing is an asset
