HIRING: SURFACE DIAMOND DRILLERS
$40.00/hour + meterage / Paid Travel / Daily Travel Per Diem

We’re looking for experienced drillers who take pride in their work and can become part of long-term team.
Position Overview
You will safely operate and maintain surface diamond drill rigs in a production‑based environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, solid communication, and the ability to work as part of a high‑performing crew while meeting safety and production targets.
What Driftwood Offers
Compensation
- $40.00 per hour
- Meterage bonuses
- Overtime paid after 8 hours
- Paid travel days
- Flights, accommodations, and per diem while traveling.
Rotation & Schedule
- 28 days on / 14 days off
- Minimum 12‑hour day and night shifts
- Remote camp work

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain surface diamond drill rigs and related equipment
- Complete pre‑shift inspections and perform routine maintenance
- Monitor drilling conditions and adjust parameters to optimize performance
- Complete daily drilling reports and required documentation
- Train and mentor helpers as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and environmental standards
- Report equipment issues and operational concerns to supervisors
Requirements
Experience
- Must have experience with surface diamond drilling
Qualifications
- Must be a Canadian resident
- Must have valid first aid ticket
- BC Supervisor Ticket considered an asset
- Valid Canadian driver’s license is an asset
