Daycare Program Supervisor
We are seeking a warm, organized, and experienced Daycare Program Supervisor to lead our new early learning and child care program located at Hope Lutheran Church in NW Calgary.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, values strong relationships with children and families, and can confidently lead a team in creating a nurturing, play-based environment.
Position Details
- Full-time position
- Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wage: $28/hour including Government of Alberta wage top-up
Qualifications
- Alberta Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification required
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a childcare setting preferred
- Strong understanding of Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Current Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support to the educator team
- Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for children
- Support and model play-based learning practices
- Build strong relationships with families and staff
- Assist with program planning, classroom support, and daily operations
- Maintain licensing standards and documentation requirements
- Help foster a collaborative and supportive workplace culture
