AUX CROCHETS - DISHWASHER
Position: Dishwasher

Reports to: Sous Chef, Executive Chef

Aux Crochets is a French-inspired fine dining restaurant opening in Grand Bend. We're building a kitchen culture rooted in precision, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. Our dishwashing team is the backbone of our operation—keeping our kitchen running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
We're looking for reliable, hardworking dishwashers who take pride in their work and support the kitchen team.
The Role:
As a Dishwasher, you'll maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen, ensuring that our team has the tools and equipment they need to execute service.
You'll be responsible for:
Dishwashing & Sanitation: Operate the commercial dishwasher; hand-wash delicate items; ensure all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils meet health code standards.
Prep Support: Assist with vegetable prep, butchering, and mise en place as directed by the Executive or Sous Chef.
Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain floors, surfaces, and shared kitchen areas throughout service and after close.
Trash & Waste Management: Manage trash, recycling, and compost; break down boxes; keep the kitchen organized.
Restocking: Keep par levels stocked for service (plates, glasses, utensils, napkins, etc.)- Communication: Alert the Executive, Sous Chef or Line Cooks to any equipment issues or shortages.
Flexibility: Adapt to high-volume service, special events, and changing priorities.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols; report hazards immediately.
What We're Looking For:
Required Experience:
Minimum 1 year of dishwashing or kitchen support experience.
Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Nice-to-Have: Kitchen prep experience
Experience in a fine dining or upscale casual environment
Schedule: Year-round position (full-time or part-time)
Service-based schedule: typically 4–5 shifts per week, including evenings and weekends- Flexibility for seasonal adjustments and special events.
