Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Static Security Guard to oversee and protect our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, loss prevention, and adherence to safety protocols. This role is crucial in safeguarding assets, personnel, and property, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times. Candidates with experience in law enforcement, surveillance, or security operations are highly preferred.
Duties
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to observe activity within the premises
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other security breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes
- Assist visitors and staff by verifying credentials and providing directions when necessary
- Conduct loss prevention activities by monitoring for suspicious behavior and intervening when appropriate
- Ensure the safety of all personnel by enforcing safety regulations and protocols
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV operation is highly desirable
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security best practices is a plus
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
