We are looking for a reliable and experienced Senior Accounting Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and reconciliations in a fast-paced professional environment.

Summary
This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting operations. This position is open to start immediately. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, organization skills, strong computer skills, great learning capacity, capable of meeting deadlines regularly and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger records
- Assist with payroll processing
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare financial reports and assist with audits
- Review invoices and financial documents for accuracy
- Maintain organized accounting files and records
- Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5-10 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Assets
- Experience with Sage 300
- Payroll knowledge
