The Opportunity
We are looking for motivated and reliable Abatement Technicians who are eager to build a long-term career in a growing company. Whether you’re experienced in abatement or coming from a general labour or construction background, we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.
This role offers hands-on experience across a variety of projects, opportunities for advancement, and the potential to grow into a leadership role such as Foreman.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in mold, asbestos, and lead abatement projects
- Support demolition and biohazard cleanup operations
- Follow site-specific safety procedures and containment protocols
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within project timelines
- Work under the direction of a Foreman, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility
What You Bring
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Minimum 18 years of age (required for hazardous materials work)
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Willingness and ability to wear required PPE (respirator, Tyvek suit, etc.)
- Clean-shaven daily (required for respirator fit and safety compliance)
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Assets (not required):
- Construction or general labour experience
- Valid driver’s licence
- Previous abatement experience
