Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on stainless steel and nickel alloy piping spools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding of various stainless steel and nickel-alloy spooling according to NVPS Weld Procedures.
- Examining completed welds to ensure they are free of defects and conform to various ASME Codes.
- Give valuable input into areas of improvement that can add efficiency and productivity within outlined work instructions and processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience welding stainless steel and nickel alloys.
- GTAW experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency in SMAW, FCAW and GMAW welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to adapt quickly from project to project as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work day or afternoon shifts.
