Responsibilities
- Provide direct client care inclusive of all services, light housekeeping, errands, outings, personal support work, lifts and transfers, recreation and meaningful activities, meal and feeding assistance, cooking, medication assistance
- Provide professional level communication between yourself, your client and their relations. This includes both verbal and written.
- Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner for the client, Directors and software
- Input availability and receive intake inquiries
- Attend case meetings and training sessions
- Design and facilitate creative and personalized activities for your clientele
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker Certificate, Disability Support Worker Diploma, Social Service Worker Diploma, Activation Coordinator/Gerontology Diploma or related health care accreditation
- Must have professional senior care experience
- Must be willing to work flexible hours - day, evening, overnight availability
- Must have a driver's license and access to a vehicle with 6A insurance endorsement (or willing to acquire).
- Must have a smartphone and access to a computer with internet.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Respectful, compassionate, and caring disposition.
- Criminal Record check including vulnerable sector search updated annually.
- First Aid level A, CPR and AED training

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
