Position Summary
The Equipment Operator will be responsible for various aspects of golf course maintenance on either of the two golf courses at Deerhurst Resort, helping to create the ultimate golfing experience for the guests and members. Mowing, changing holes, blowing, trimming and various other golf course tasks will fill your day to day schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
Keeps up to date on golf and resort facilities and events
Assists other members of the golf department when needed
Operates equipment and machinery as directed in a safe professional manner
Ensures the well-being of our guests and hosts by being alert to and reporting potential hazards
Completes all other duties as required

Able to work early mornings
Enjoys working outdoors in various types of weather
Is passionate about the condition of the golf course
Able to work well with others and individually
Pays precise attention to detail, order and cleanliness
Enjoys offering exceptional service and meeting the needs of others
Able to adapt in a fast pace, constant changing environment within a dynamic work schedule
Education & Experience
Valid Ontario driver’s license with clean driving record
Previous experience in turf maintenance, horticulture, or landscaping an asset
Previous experience operating a lawnmower, tractor, or front-end loader and asset
