Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and responsible Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team of women at Pup Patrol!
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of dogs in our care. This position offers an engaging environment where animal care and customer service skills are essential to providing a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
The position is for Thursdays and Fridays until September 2026. Additional weekdays will also be available for the summer.
Duties
- Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime and rest periods to ensure a safe environment
- Monitor dog behavior
- Clean and sanitize play areas, and equipment regularly to maintain hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ activities and well-being
- Assist with checking dogs in and out, ensuring proper documentation is maintained
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or equipment
- Capable working in a fast paced environment in all weather types
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to engage positively with pet owners and visitors
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently when required
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and understanding of their needs
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients
- Ability to remain calm and attentive in a busy environment
- Basic knowledge of dog behaviour is an asset

Looking for an attendant with at least one years experience
Pay: $18.00 per hour
