Project Coordinator – Construction

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our growing Construction team. This position works closely with Project Managers, field staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
The ideal candidate has experience in the construction industry, excels in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required. This location is not serviced by public transit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of construction projects, including scheduling, document control, and progress tracking.
- Prepare, review, and distribute project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, progress claims, daily and weekly reports, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate material procurement, equipment deliveries, subcontractor onboarding, and supplier communications.
- Track project costs, budgets, quantities, and variances, while assisting with cost coding, invoicing, and monthly reporting.
- Maintain organized project files and logs, including safety, quality, environmental, inspection, and compliance documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings, site inspections, client walkthroughs, and regulatory inspections.
- Assist with permits, utility locates, traffic control plans, and other project requirements as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between field crews, office staff, clients, municipalities, engineers, utilities, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Assist with project closeout by compiling Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, warranties, as-built drawings, and final documentation packages.
- Respond promptly to project-related emails and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform additional project coordination and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar construction administration role.
- Experience in the construction industry is required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
