Overview
Sunridge Painting is now hiring team members. We are looking for hard-working individuals who take pride in their work, are organized, keep a clean work space and show up on time ready to work. Work is located in Waterloo region, Guelph, sometimes as far as Welland. Painting experience preferred, must have reliable transportation. At Sunridge painting we are a team and we rely on each other, these are key qualifications that will keep us operational. Wages will be dependent on experience and quality.
Responsibilities
- - Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing any damage
- Apply paint and other finishes to various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim
- Use brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other tools to apply paint in a neat and efficient manner
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when working with paints and chemicals
- Clean and maintain painting equipment after each use
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client specifications
Skills:
- Familiarity with drywall repair techniques and the ability to patch holes and cracks prior to painting
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work with clean lines and smooth finishes
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing gaps or joints prior to painting

Experience
- Proven experience in residential painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and drywall repair is a plus.
