We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team.
** Currently seeking someone for immediate hire working on a platform replacing expanding joints, caulking and helping change windows**
must be able to start work 8am and willing to work at heights (willing to obtain certificates)
This role involves supporting various construction, manufacturing, or maintenance projects by performing physical tasks that contribute to the overall success of our operations. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a versatile skill set within a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and organizing tools
- Perform manual labor such as lifting, digging, and moving heavy objects safely
- Support team members in completing project tasks efficiently and effectively
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure tools are properly stored after use
- Assist with basic maintenance and minor repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or similar manual labor roles is a plus but not required
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Reliable transportation to job sites is preferred
