Parallel is hiring experienced Class 1 Heavy Duty Truck Drivers to support Warehouse and Commercial Office builds in Quesnel, BC.

REQUIREMENTS
- Class 1 Driver's License and experience
- Current Driver's Abstract
- Current Driver's License
- Able to work unsupervised
- Able to life heavy loads and work in various weather conditions
- Drive a range of vehicles including straight trucks and tractor-trailers
- Positive attitude and superior work ethic
- Must be drug free **
- Willing to work days, nights, weekends
SCOPE
- Transport construction materials and equipment on short-haul and local trips.
- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials, equipment and supplies.
- Operate and drive straight-body trucks and special purpose trucks such as tow trucks, dump trucks, hydrovac trucks or cement mixing trucks, as required.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured per safety requirements and follow safety requirements for transport of dangerous goods.
- Plan trip logistics and coordinate deliveries with site personnel, supervisors, dispatcher and other drivers, to ensure awareness and efficiency of deliveries and material handling.
- Maintain logs of driving activities including hours worked, mileage and vehicle conditions, and promptly report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to management.
- Handle applicable paperwork such as Bills of Lading, Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure Safety compliance.
- Perform emergency truck repairs, when required.
- Follow all Parallel and Class 1 governing Safety protocols and procedures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
