Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques, more specifically Aluminum products. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and mechanical systems to ensure precise and high-quality welds. The Welder will play a critical part in supporting our manufacturing projects, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal and aluminum components according to blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine welding specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters
- Operate machining equipment for precise fabrication and assembly of parts
- Measure dimensions with calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy
- Conduct quality inspections of welds and finished products to meet safety standards and specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and maintenance of welding equipment
Experience
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding within manufacturing, construction, environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, machining, and blueprint reading
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, plasma cutting, and schematics
- Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to measurements and fabrication tasks
- Knowledge of safety standards related to welding operations is essential
