Duties and responsibilities:

The Rehabilitation Services Coordinator is a key leadership role within Provincial Services, responsible for leading administrative operations across Orthopaedics and the Accessible Parking Program. This position provides direction to staff members, supports financial and operational performance, and contributes to the ongoing development of programs and services.
Duties include:

Provide leadership, direction, and daily supervision to administrative staff members, ensuring service standards, program targets, and deadlines are achieved.

Recruit, orient, train, and evaluate staff members, supporting performance development and fostering a positive, accountable team environment.

Oversee administrative operations, including invoicing, receivables, statistical tracking, reporting, inventory processes, and procurement activities.

Monitor financial processes, including month-end activities, reconciliations, and budget tracking, ensuring accuracy and supporting effective decision-making.

Support and contribute to operational planning, budgeting, and the implementation of organizational priorities and procedural improvements.

Respond to and resolve complex client inquiries and concerns, and support staff members in managing challenging situations.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal departments, funders, and external partners.

Coordinate tours, job shadowing opportunities, and other activities that support program awareness and service delivery.
Qualifications:
Education:

Diploma from a recognized business college.
-
Completion of a medical terminology course is considered an asset.
Experience:
-
Minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role with direct reports.

Customer service experience.
Skills:

Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to guide teams and support performance.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage complex situations.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and experience with financial and administrative processes.

Project management experience is considered an asset.
