What do Pre-Board Screening Officers do?
You will use your strong customer service skills to uphold the safety of passengers and create a positive travel experience by:

efficiently screening passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints

providing information professionally and with integrity
-
confirming valid boarding passes
-
scanning/testing baggage for prohibited items usings X-ray machines, metal detectors and other technology

protecting restricted areas

upholding all regulations with vigilance
What you bring to PASS:

You are 18 or older
-
You have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
-
You are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada

You are able to obtain a Transport Security Clearance and have a no unpardoned criminal record

You have fluency in English (verbal and written). Fluency in French is considered a strong asset - preference is given to Bilingual Candidates

You are able to comply with the CATSA medical requirements

You have demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment for a minimum of one year

You are available to work any shift as required by the airport operation. This will include early morning, day, late evening, nights, weekends and statutory holidays

Physical Requirements of the role include but are not limited to: Visual (including colour) and hearing acuity, ability to lift/push/pull items up to 10kg, bending, squatting, crouching, kneeling and standing/walking/sitting for periods up to 2 hours.
